JLCA is a national organization representing contractors in the landscaping industry. Our goal is to support improvements and new developments in all areas of the landscaping profession. We represent Japan's landscape contractors though a branch network spanning 47 prefectures and are a recognized member of Association Internationale des Productueurs de l'Horticulture (AIPH).
Preserving the global environment and enhancing the quality of our surroundings are important themes for everyone. JLCA tackles these issues through a variety of activities in Japan and overseas, all of them supporting the creation of scenic areas and better living conditions abundant in greenery.

Apr. 1965 | Japan Landscape Contractors Union established as non-profit organization. |
Nov. 1971 | Ministry of Construction grants status as corporate entity JAPAN LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION established. |
Feb. 1972 | Reported to Construction Minister in accordance with Clause 33, Article 27 of Construction Industry Law. |
2012 | Converted entity to a general incorporated association. |
Prospective members must already hold a Landscape Contractor Permit for Japan.
